The Dolomites have National parks and some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, with the clear lakes of the Alps and emerald green waters. On this tour, we will visit the Dolomites under UNESCO world heritage protection.

We will spend eight days visiting iconic mountain views like Tree Cime, Misurina Mountains, Cinque Torri, Alps di Siusi, Odle Group, Passo delle Erbe, Passo Gardena and Giau, Seceda; beautiful blue lakes like Lago di Braies, Lago d‘ Antorno, Federa, Limides, Landro; and wonderful alpine valleys.
I’ve just finished my third photography tour with Robert, twice in the Dolomites and once in Patagonia. Robert was extremely knowledgeable about the areas and had scouted perfect locations to shot. Lago di Misurina – Lago d’Antorno
Meeting in Munich Airport, also named Franz Josef Strauss where we’ll pick you up by 11 am, then we drive to our first Hotel in the near from Cortina d’Ampezzo (4 Hours). On our first day we will visit and capture the sunset on Misurina Lake with beautiful mountains in the background. Alternative we will visit Lago d’Antorno with Tre Cime and Misurina Mountains in the background.
Lago di Braies – Lago Landro -Passo Giau
Our sunrise destination is Lago di Braies, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. A fantastic way to start a day on this astonishing location both for the photoshoot and pleasant hiking. On the way back to Hotel we will stop on Lago Landro, natural lake with majestic peaks of Monte Cristallo in the background. The afternoon and sunset photoshoot at Passo Giau, impressive photographs guaranteed. Photoshoot will take place from different perspectives, and soft light gives a special „feel“ to this place.
Cadini di Misurina – Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Our sunrise spot is Cadini di Misurina, one of the most spectacular peaks and views in Dolomites. It’s a 45 minutes easy hike to these imposing spot, where we photograph the most iconic peaks in the Dolomites. You will see on another side Tre Time di Lavaredo, that will be our other famous Spot. After that, we’ll drive to our hotel and enjoy together our Dinner.
Lago Federa – Passo Gardena
This morning we will take a special 4WD cat to Lago Federa and see places of staggering beauty and striking autumnal colors! This lake is one of the most spectacular locations in the Dolomites during the fall, with endless larches and a lake surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Croda da Lago.
Lago Antorno – Lago Misurina – St. Maddalenna
On this day, we will catch the sunrise on Lago Antorno, an attractive natural lake. In the background, we will see Tre Cime di Lavaredo, one of the most magnificent mountain peaks in the world! We will be able to shoot the reflection in the lake if the sky is clear. In the same place, we will photograph another gorgeous, eye-catching motif, we will visit Lago Misurina, which is just 5 minutes far from there.
After breakfast, we ride towards the west part of Dolomites and another Hotel in Klausen. Our first destination will be in St. Maddalena, Funes Valley, one of the lovelies and the most popular places in the region. Our sunset location will be at the end of the village – a small church and its magnificent, breath-taking surroundings. A truly special place you could not get enough of.
Alpe di Susi – St. Maddalenna
We start a bus journey early and after a 40-minute walk, we arrive at a new and extraordinary destination. When asked, most visitors to the Dolomites would say that Alpe di Sissi was the most amazing place they had ever seen. Europe’s highest valley, is enchantingly beautiful, with little wooden huts, hills and mountains all around. There are lots of photoshoot motifs and in the fall this place has a special touch.
Afternoon destination will be again St. Maddalena. This time we will be talking photographs of St. Maddalena, Val di Funes, from a different position. Photoshoot od Odlo Mountains panorama in the background, one of the most beloved and attractive motives in the Dolomites.
Seceda – Geisleralm
On the seventh day of our Dolomites autumn photo adventure, we go to St. Ulrich where we take a cable car up to Seceda, the highlight in the Dolomites, incredible mountains, and enjoy our morning photography session. The Seceda area is located on the sunny side of Val Gardena, at the foot of Natural Park Puez – Odle. From the Seceda summit, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Dolomites and off many mountains in South Tyrol.
After breakfast we will visit Klausen and make some post processing. Our sunset destination is Geisleralm. The Geisler Alm offers one of those iconic views all of us know when you hear the word „Dolomites“. Huge mountains, green meadows, wooden houses. You get all of those here! The hike to Geisler Alm normally takes 2 hours, but we have transport that takes us directly there in 10 minutes.
Seceda – Passo delle Erbe
